It is your responsibility to ensure that all furniture items will fit through any access points such as doorways, stairways, hallways, elevators and around corners into the desired location. Please see our Measuring for Furniture Delivery guidelines for instructions on measuring your home's spaces to ensure items will fit at the time of delivery.
Once you are notified that items are ready for delivery, we ask that you take receipt of them within 30 days. At the time of scheduling, please notify Nosttaalgia of any special requirements necessary to ensure a successful delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, the need for small trucks to navigate narrow roads and driveways, restricted delivery time frames due to local ordinances, gated entry access, proof of insurance for high rise and condominium buildings, multiple flights of stairs and service elevator reservations.
Most furniture items include delivery inside your home, where experienced white glove delivery service professionals will carefully unpack and inspect each item, assemble it and place it in your room of choice. Please note that we do not unpack lighting, and certain other restrictions may apply. For your convenience, all packing materials will be removed. We ask that you closely inspect your item(s) before our delivery professionals leave your home.
Our delivery professionals are not permitted to move furniture currently in your home, nor are they allowed to move or set up electrical equipment. To facilitate delivery, please clear the space where furniture or rugs will be placed prior to delivery.
An authorized individual must be home during your scheduled delivery window to accept and inspect your items and sign the delivery receipt.
In the event of any imperfection noted at the time of delivery, Nosttaalgia will replace the item or schedule a furniture medic or service technician to repair the issue at no charge to you. Contact Us for more information.
